Construction plans, building sites, and construction work – these challenges have been with us in one form or another since 2015, but an end is in sight. Thanks to the support from Sternstunden e.V., the Maisha Mazuri Academy now has four boarding school buildings, enough to accommodate all students on campus. Additionally, since summer 2023, there has been a spacious outdoor kitchen that provides meals for the school and boarding students. The adjacent dining area is multi-functional, usable as an assembly hall, theater room, or get-together area, and immediately became very popular. After the students of the agriculture club diligently planted between the building wings, we all hope for a long rainy season that will allow the trees, bushes, and flowers to grow quickly and make the remaining construction traces disappear.
