Exciting times at the Academy of Maisha Mazuri Senior Secondary School. A special highlight at the end of Term 2 was the Prize Giving Day which took place in mid-July.
For the team led by Principal Nicholas Lubisia, it is an honor to recognize all those students who stand out through good performance, special discipline, or simply an extraordinary sense of tidiness regarding their dormitories.
The festivities were framed by a church service. In addition to the students, around 50 parents and several dozen former MCC graduates attended. Of course, our MCC Director Jimmy Kilonzi was also present.
The guests applauded nine top achievements. The award winners were delighted to each receive a new backpack. Special recognition also went to student Purity Wanza, who was presented with a laptop thanks to her exam results.
This gift-giving tradition last took place at our Secondary School in 2022. By the way, a grade of C+ or higher directly opens the doors to university.
For the Maisha Mazuri Senior Secondary School, Prize Giving Day 2025 was a successful day.
