- in-depth training available in three specialized areas: Home Economics – Organic Agriculture – Computer/IT
- extensive practical training and work experience
A dual-track senior secondary school, because...
- in the rural region of Machakos County, many young people still do not (or cannot) attend secondary school.
- young people without a senior secondary school diploma can later only work as casual laborers, thus remaining trapped in the cycle of poverty.
- practice-oriented additional training helps young people with their career orientation, family subsistence farming, and educational opportunities.
With this dual education program, we are working against the negative cycle of inadequate schooling, lack of vocational training, youth unemployment, and migration to Nairobi’s slums.
This aims to offer young people a way to independently earn a stable livelihood in their rural environment, often even on their own land.
