Volunteers Welcome!

Together with our local Kenyan team, we have defined the following guidelines for your stay:

Skype Call and Personal Meeting

After we receive your application, we will invite you to a detailed and informative Skype call. Afterwards, you will introduce yourself in person to our active members at a meeting as soon as possible.

Before your trip, you will meet with two former volunteers who will gladly answer all your questions and will always be there for you during your stay.

The volunteer program is free of charge; only travel, visas, and vaccinations are to be covered by the volunteers.

For each volunteer, a weekly schedule will be developed with our social workers on site at the beginning of their stay, which includes the following points, depending on interests and aptitude:

Are you interested in our project? Then contact us!
We look forward to receiving your application to Elisabeth Hauber at:
praktikum@4kenya.info

Regardless of age, profession, education, or experience, we look forward to discussing everything else with you and planning your stay. Our projects thrive on the collaboration of creative, committed, and persistent people.

Have you just finished school and would like to combine your international experience with volunteer work? Then feel free to apply to us; we currently still have openings from April 2027. Additionally, we are always looking for expert knowledge for our agricultural project as well as committed individuals who would like to actively assist our gardener Boniface on site.
(As of: July 2026)

Asante sana for your interest and support.
