On October 3, 2022, the Wasserburg Inn Boat Race took place with the ‘nut shells’ (these are ecologically harmless palm leaf shells from the betel nut palm, which dissolve naturally in water) and attracted numerous participants and spectators.
The Rotary Club Wasserburg donated half of the proceeds—a full 5,000 Euros—to our association. We agree, that’s quite a ‘double whammy’! We say ASANTE SANA—A HUGE THANK YOU for that!
