Previously, Victoria, who is responsible for internships and all learning outside the classroom, organized individual internships for our students in Nguluni at nearby businesses. This opportunity was initially well-received, but over time, more and more parents expressed concerns \u2013 especially regarding safety and costs, as their children were unsupervised minors traveling to these locations. <\/p>\n

To still provide practical insights into various career fields, Victoria, together with the school administration and dedicated teachers, developed a new concept: industry-specific excursions as a class during school hours<\/strong>. The school’s clubs specifically visit facilities that match their interests and curriculum focus. This not only ensures safety but also provides a communal learning experience with a lasting effect. <\/p>\n

\nOur students learned firsthand how a hotel operates: from interior design and conference room management to food preparation and laundry logistics \u2013 an educational day for future hosts and hostesses.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udf31<\/strong> Visit to Real IPM Kichozi Farm (Agriculture Club)<\/p>\n

The young people learned a lot about integrated pest management, biopesticides, vertical farming, and vermicomposting. Back at school, the knowledge was immediately put into practice: flowers and fresh vegetables have been growing in the school garden ever since. <\/p>\n

\nAn exciting day for the geography students, where they not only experienced volcanic landscapes and geothermal energy generation but also gained direct impressions of wildlife and the effects of water erosion.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udfdb<\/strong> Visit to the National Assembly (History and Politics Club)<\/strong>
\nHere, our students could witness live how parliamentary debates unfold \u2013 in this case, it was about the appointment of a new Inspector General of Police. Afterwards, discussions took place with members of parliament and security officials \u2013 a fascinating insight into the world of politics and policing. <\/p>\n

Strengthening Personality & Community<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition to the excursions, Victoria’s team regularly organizes mentoring and motivational events<\/strong>, covering topics such as drug abuse, mental preparation for exams, interpersonal relationships during adolescence, and bullying. Experts not only provide information but are also available for students’ personal questions. These encounters are very well-received and actively utilized by the students. <\/p>\n
